LOG HOME BUILDING INFORMATION
WHAT SPECIES OF LOG DO YOU USE?
Norse Log Homes uses select West Coast grown Douglas Fir logs. Western Red Cedar is also available on request at a slightly higher cost.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO BUILD MY LOG PACKAGE?
Typically it will take about 8 weeks from the time of contract to build an average home in our construction yard. This of course depends on the size and complexity of your design and our work load at the time of construction.
Once your home is delivered to your building site it will take 1-3 days to re erect on your waiting foundation and subfloor.
DO YOU OFFER CUSTOM DESIGN?
Yes we are custom builders and offer experienced professional design and drafting services.
HOW DO WE GET STARTED?
E-MAIL us a rough sketch of your design or modifications made to one of our designs. Make sure all log walls and dimensions are clearly marked. We also need to know where your building site is located.
Working from your sketch we will send you An estimate for the log package delivered to your building site. We will then be in touch with our designers who will begin working on your plans.
SHOPPING INFORMATION
Typically processing time takes 1-3 business days. Once the order has been shipped you cannot change the shipping order. Changes to the order can be requested by contacting our shipping department at shipping@norseloghomes.com any change may be subject to additional charges for shipping.
After you order is processed delivery time will be dependent on the shipping option you have chosen. Ex: standard,express,priority.
Yes, you will receive a confirmation right away for your order. Once your order has been processed you will receive confirmation your item has shipped.
PAYMENT INFORMATION
Your payment will be taken from your bank account immediately after you complete the checkout process.
You should e-mail shipping@norseloghomes.com with details of the problem. There is optional insurance coverage that covers lost, missing, and damaged items. Mistakes can happen and sometimes do. If there is a discrepancy from what you ordered we will do our best to rectify the situation in a timely manner.
Yes, all changes can be done by e-mailing shipping@norseloghomes.com they may be subject to additional charges for shipping. All cancellations are subject to a 2% processing fee. All changes or cancellations must take place prior to processing your order, once your order has been processed you cannot change or cancel. Our average processing time can take 1-3 business days.
All our products have a tracking # so you can watch your package in transit. You will be e-mailed your tracking number at the time your order is processed.
